ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Kass is a director, actor, dancer, playwright, stage manager, and theatre administrator. A native of Crawfordsville, Indiana, they received their training at Indiana State University where they double-majored in Theater and Communications. As a theatre artist, their interests center on honest storytelling with genres ranging from psychological horror to farce. After joining the Monument company in 2018, they were named the Marketing Director in the summer of 2020. Following a successful two-year run, Kass was named Monument's Artistic Director prior to the 2022 season.
They recently directed Observer Effect by Josiah McKenna as part of the IndyFringe Short Play Fest and will made their Monument directorial debut with their original work, Le Bord D'ivoire.
